Free the IKEA 2 – Sissy furniture company files felony charges against brother Hashers
Doc Salchow and his sister, Dorothee (Ahhhh Tounge-<Their German>Santa Barbara is her home hash), planned to spend a pleasant afternoon marking a trail for fellow members of their offbeat running and drinking club. Instead, they wound up in police custody after their clue of choice — flour — set off a bioterrorism scare and forced hundreds of people to evacuate an Ikea furniture store on Thursday. Jessica Mayorga, a spokeswoman for Mayor John DeStefano Jr., said “You see powder connected by arrows and chalk, you never know”.
Dr. Salchow and his wife recently moved to New Haven, where he works with needy children through a Yale University program….The dude is even F**kn respectable..he is a frikin professor at Yale University….good going IKEA we have to keep those Doctors working with needy children off the streets, can’t have any poor kids be getting well so their parents can afford real furniture.

We had a similar case in Rome, and another time, when we set the Ides of march trail, there was a big problem with police, and just the fact that I’m from the Ministry of Justice and went to explain police officers, helped ease the tension. In another case they would have been more than glad to held US responsible for THEIR misunderstandings.
There would be a lot of funny accidents to tell, from the Hashers charged in Danmark by a police officer who misunderstood what ‘Hash’ means, or when I laid a trail from the car of my father, and someone told police a guy was pouring cocaine from a car. Than police called my guvnor and asked for explanation, and silently withdrew when they heard my dad is a … judge…
But I want to say, enough is enough.
People should be held responsible for THEIR behaviour, not for the way others interpret it. We are not responsible for others’ anxiousness and oversensitivity. If people is scared by flour, their problem. What then if someone feels scared by black people? Is it his problem, or of the guy with a black skin?
We could downplay those ‘funny’ accidents, but I think our freedom is at stake.
I would like American hashers to stand side by side to our fellow german hare. And if he has to pay legal expenses as a defendant, I propose all chapters should contribute.
I learn Dr Daniel Salchow is ophthalmologist who works with needy children through a Yale University program. This is what hashers are: serious, responsible and respected member of the community who have the right to have their pastimes, not idiots who like to cause alarm on purpose.
